Why aren't we taught this about depression and anxiety?

"A Light In The Darkness" (short poem)

Depression and anxiety are good!?

Not many people would agree with this...but that's simply because it's what we've been programmed to believe.

We're taught that those emotions are "bad", and since they're bad, they must be eliminated at all costs. Typically that involves popping some sort of medication (or self-medication) to make those emotions "go away"...

But the problem with that is twofold:
1. Emotions are our internal guidance system. No emotions, no guidance
2. We cannot numb the "bad" without also numbing the good

So, if YOU feel like the last straw has fallen, this last part is for you:

My wife and I have announced a very special experience starting on May 14th. It's called "The Transformation" and it's designed help you to USE YOUR EMOTIONS to get focused and reclaim your life...

You can change it all...and in just 10-weeks.

A Light In The Darkness

Depression was good,
Anxiety too.
How the hell else,
Could I have known what to do?

Emotions were guiding me,
Along the turbulent way.
But I numbed them or ignored them,
Never gave them a say.

Then I finally veered,
So far from the track,
The last straw had fallen,
And broke the camel's back.

But that back had to break,
So I could finally see.
A light in the darkness,
The path to be free.
